Marjorie Smedley, Opinions Editor

Marjorie Smedley is the Opinions Editor on the McIntosh Trail, and has been on staff for two years. A senior at McIntosh, Smedley moved back to Georgia in the middle of her sophomore year from Illinois and has spent the last two years unpacking the cardboard boxes from when her family moved.

She is a member of the National Spanish Honors Society and a Dual Enrollment Student at the University of West Georgia. Outside of school, she works at Chick-fil-A and occasionally babysits on weekends.

She enjoys writing when she has time (which is never) and arguing with people on various social platforms (which is always). She is definitely not stressing about college applications and looks forward to the coming school year and what lies ahead.
