Taylor Swift going too far with her break ups?

As everyone knows, Taylor Swift’s trademark theme is publicly bashing on her ex-boyfriends through her songs and social media. As she opened the 55th Annual Grammy Awards this past Sunday night with her song “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” she spoke a line of her song in a British accent, referring to Harry Styles of One Direction.

Has Swift’s bashing gone too far? Is it getting old to continuously bring up past relationships at different events? Swift’s attitude is distasteful and immature. It was more appropriate when she was a teenager, but now that she is 23 years old,  it’s time to handle things in a more mature manner.

It is embarrassing and unnecessary to share all of your problems with the rest of the public. Though this is Swift’s trademark, some things are better left between the two people in a relationship. Her songs are still catchy and fun, but I think the bashing could be kept to a minimum.

I agree, one should never air their dirty laundry out for other’s entertainment, let alone air it on the freaking radio and live show performances. It’s also sad considering the person she is bashing is a teenager 4 years yonger than her. Yet he is acting with more grace and maturiy than she has shown.
