McIntosh cross country and track runner, junior Vladi Zander-Velloso has high hopes for the coming track season. This past cross country season, he placed 10th in the 5A boys state meet with a 5K time of 17:23. His personal 5K record for this past cross country season was a 16:14.63, which was the best on the team.

He said, “I’ve had a pretty good year with several personal records, and I’m really excited for this next track season. My goal for this season is to break ten minutes in the 3200 meter race.” Along with the 3200, Vladi will also be running the 1600 and 800 meter races. This year’s track season starts in early March with the Green vs. White Inner-squad Scrimmage.
