Madison Hinkle is a freshman at McIntosh High School, and it is her first time being part of a newspaper. Madison likes reading, writing and singing with friends. She has begun learning to play the guitar in her free time and is the oldest of three children. Throughout elementary and middle school, Madison has won several awards for her writing. She has written multiple short stories, poems, and other works of fiction based on things she has seen in the world around her and her imagination. Her interest in journalism derives from reading numerous newspaper publications covering the current events. Madison plans on following through with her interest in college by either majoring in journalism or English literature.
