McIntosh played Sandy Creek on Feb. 28 in the first game of the team’s doubleheader. In the first inning, sophomore Daniel Blair gave up one run, but the Chiefs’ bats came out swinging. Senior Duke Kinamon, who hit a homerun, led the team on offense.

In the third inning, Daniel allowed another run and loaded the bases, and senior Will Tuten came in to relieve him and allowed another run but got out of the bases loaded jam with little damage. The Chiefs got one back and went into the fourth inning with a 11-3 lead.

Will continued pitching, and didn’t give up another run for the rest of the game. While hitting wasn’t as high as it was in the first, the Chiefs scored scored two more runs, and the game ended on the 10-run Rule after the fifth inning.
