- Student Athlete of the Week
Senior Drew Saunders is MHS Student Athlete of the Week for the week of September 24, 2012. Saunders stated, “It feels great to be the Student Athlete of the Week. It feels like all of my hard work is paying off.”
Drew, #57 is the left tackle on the varsity football team. When asked how his senior year has differed from previous years, Saunders stated, “We have incredible players and coaches that truly care about others and this school.”
Saunders plans to play college football next year. He stated, “I feel like if we finish the season out strong it, it will only help my chances at playing at a good school.”
