This past Tuesday McIntosh’s three concert bands and the jazz combo band performed their annual Winter Concert. They played songs such as “Here Comes Santa Claus” and “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.”
One of the more spectacular moments of the concert was when the director, Ms. Barbra Baker, walked off the stage, while the top band, the Wind Ensemble, performed “Carol of the Bells” by themselves.
During the concert, Ms. Baker honored the students who audition for the All-State band that past weekend, as well as the students who were performing for the Governor’s Mansion, and those who played at the Fayette First United Methodist Church for a swing dance.
