Technology is becoming extremely popular and useful in the classroom. As of this year, McIntosh students are allowed to bring their own technology (also known as BYOT). With most of the technology being an Apple or Android product, students can use many helpful educational apps when working on assingments.
Edmodo

Many teachers at McIntosh, especially math teachers, use Edmodo for its Facebook-like features that students can easily relate to and use. The Edmodo app features posts by teachers and students, notifications of assignments, groups, and even grades.

Tired of flipping through endless pages of a dictionary? The makers of dictionary.com have created an app where students can search words for projects or essays at a touch of a button.
3. Quizlet

Quizlet is a popular website for those who need to memorize information—and fast! One can make his or her own personalized flashcards for whatever subject, at whatever time, and share it with classmates working on the same subject.
4. Infinite Campus
Cost: FREE
McIntosh students use Infinite Campus as a main source for checking grades. The Infinite Campus website has created an app where students can check grades and email teachers right in the app. The Infinite Campus app also allows users to have grades pop up as a notification as soon as the teacher puts them in.
5. QuickVoice

QuickVoice is the most popular voice recorder on the App Store. Record notes, teacher lectures, classroom dicussions, ideas, or anything else on the easy, one-touch app.
