Today, October 19, the McIntosh Chiefs will take on the Starr’s Mill Panthers at McIntosh High School.
Ultimately the most anticipated game of the year in Peachtree City, these two rival schools will go head to head at McIntosh’s green-out. Many students are very excited for the game.
Sophomore Camille Norman said, “I’m very excited, and I’m ready for us to win.”
However, not everyone is as excited. Not everyone can love football. Junior Cassandra Calderon-Figueroa said, “In general, I’m not much of a football person.” Freshman Zoe Knox also said, “I’m not very excited about it. I’m not a big sports person.”
Although some are more excited than others, the school as a whole is very excited. This week, the school sold green shirts for students to show their school spirit at the game on Friday. Students are encouraged to attend the most anticipated game of every football season in Peachtree City, Georgia.
