Lady Chiefs compete in first round of state playoffs
The varsity girls soccer team competed in the first round of state playoffs on April 27. The Lady Chiefs mercy ruled against Warner Robins to end their second half early with a final score of 10-0.
Freshman Juliana Pickard said, “I was very nervous for the first round of playoffs with my team. My nerves went away as soon as we started playing and connecting passes. My team possessed the ball very well, and we had many goal scoring opportunities. In the end, we were able to mercy rule the other team, so we are all very excited to compete in the next round of the state playoffs on May 2.”
