The varsity girls soccer team hosted Fayette County High School on March 2. The Lady Chiefs defeated the Tigers 9 to 0. It is the team’s fourth shut out game of the season. They had previously shut out Morrow, Riverdale and Pace Academy.

The backup keeper sophomore Stephanie Yi played her first full game. Stephanie said, “It felt amazing to play the whole game and be able to make stops in the goal for the team’s fourth shutout. I hope the team continues to win and do well with the remainder of our season.”

The team competes in the state tournament on April 27. The girls hope to finish off their season with another state championship win.
