As the college football season came to a close January 6, football fans had a lot to talk about and still do in the weeks following.  The game began with a more than nice start from the Auburn Tigers, but a fake punt is said to have turned the game upside down, leading Florida State to a thrilling 34-31 victory.

An avid Florida State fan at McIntosh Mr. Ward Abel said, “Auburn was consistent with its ‘team of destiny’ image in the game by almost winning.  However, the superior team won.”  Also an avid Auburn fan at our school Connor Whittle said, “As an Auburn fan, I’m still a fan of my team, we fought hard and plan on being in the national title next year.”
