Cars should be banned from the golfcart parking lot

Golf carts can neatly fit into each parking space, yet drivers of cars often park there horizontally covering at least six spaces in the process.

If a student were to walk by the golf cart parking lot after 4:45 p.m., he or she would see cars haphazardly parked there. Parents park there to pick up their students after a rehearsal or practice, but many students are still trying to use the golf cart parking lot, and these cars are in the way.

Parents should use the open spaces in the car lots near the drama scene shop and football field.  When cars are parked in the limited driving space near the golf cart lot, student safety is jeopardized. As a community and school, we should always put students’ safety first.
