Before the snow fell, on Friday, Jan. 22, Fayette County Board of Education decided to cancel the McIntosh/Starr’s Mill basketball games.

On Saturday students realized that the roads were not icy, and there was only a dusting on the ground.  Senior John Hamlin said, “Being from Canada, the dusting of snow that we received was rather disappointing, considering that it snows quite a bit more in Toronto than here.  We also didn’t get any days off, something I always look forward to when it snows.”
