The varsity girls soccer team traveled to Mercer University to compete in the state championship against Buford High School on May 11.  The team secured a 2-0 victory with both goals coming from senior Taylor Malasek.

Senior captain Chandler Witucki said, “I am so proud of this team’s never-die attitude and incredible work ethic that got us to winning that state championship. We overcame every obstacle and proved that we deserved this win. There is no better feeling than knowing that everything you and your team have been working for since January has finally paid off. This was a perfect ending to a perfect year.”
