Varsity girl’s lacrosse team takes on Holy Innocents Episcopal and Kell

The McIntosh varsity girl’s lacrosse team took on Holy Innocents Episcopal High School on Tuesday May 2. The Chiefs entered the game with a record of 18-1. At halftime the score was tied at 8-8. The Chiefs ended the game on a 12-3 scoring run and won the game 20-11.

In the next round the Chiefs took on Kell High School on Saturday, May 6. Kell entered the game with an 11-9 record. The Chiefs lost 23-5 ending their  season with a record of 19-2.
Senior Jaylen Knight said, “I’m proud of the way we played this year. Our team worked really hard, and it is unfortunate that we lost early in the playoffs.”
