Varsity girls soccer team competes in first scrimmage game
The varsity girls soccer team traveled to Walton High School to compete in their first scrimmage game of the season. They lost two to zero. They played against Walton last year in preseason and lost as well.
Freshmen Skylar Dzenis said, “We worked very hard and played against a very good Walton team. Friday was my first varsity game, and it was a good test for us. I had a lot of fun and can’t wait for the coming up games with my great team.”
Sophomore Stephanie Yi said, “All the varsity players have been so supportive and made the bus rides and game super fun, and I can’t wait to see how the rest of this season goes for us.”
