The varsity boys basketball team competed against the Whitewater Wildcats on Tuesday, Jan. 17.

Senior William Stowman said, “I thought we should have been more aggressive on offense and take it to the bucket more. The other team took advantage of the refs calling lots of fouls around the rim, and we should have done the same.”

The team fell to Whitewater in the second half when Whitewater scored a last second three-pointer winning the game with a final score of 44 to 47.

Stowman said, “We would like to win our region and be competitive during state. Also, we would like to end with a winning season because we had a slow start at the beginning.”
