Chiefs host battle of the bubble game

The varsity basketball teams hosted school rival Starr’s Mill for the battle of the bubble game on Jan. 20. The Lady Chiefs led the Lady Panthers 16-11 at the half and were able to hold their lead to finish with a final score of 40-23. This holds their season to a 14-4 record with five games left. The guys had a lead at their half with a score of 29-17. They ended with a final score of 57-45, making their season record 9-10.

Senior Ben Bryant said, “It’s the most fun game you’ll ever play in; the atmosphere at home against Starr’s Mill can’t be beaten.”
