For seniors who have yet to take their formal pictures with Peachtree Portraits for the yearbook, the last opportunity will take place this upcoming Tuesday, August 26. The photo session will take place in the auditorium lobby from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. To schedule a sitting and complete payment , go to http://www.peachtreeportraits.com/. Click on Seniors, then Schedule Your Sitting and then McIntosh High School. Time slots are filling up quickly.

Seniors should have been mailed Peachtree Portrait information sheets during the summer with photo options and tips to look their best. The Senior Portrait Gold Setting is $50 with 36 formal poses (black and blue background) and up to five casual outfits. The Senior Portrait Silver Setting is $40 with 25 formal poses (black and blue background) and up to two casual outfits. Since the photo proofs take four to six weeks to process, the yearbook pose selection deadline is September 23.

Senior casual pictures are due to yearbook sponsor Mrs. Edwards at [email protected] by October 1. Several popular companies are offering a discount; for example, Davel Photography is offering a 30 percent off offseason special for August and a 25 percent off season special for September. However, seniors must keep in mind that the photos take a couple of weeks to be ready before they can be sent to the yearbook.

Also, senior advertisements must be placed by January 6 at www.jostensadservice.com. Seniors should have received an information pamphlet in their English class earlier this week. Questions about photo deadlines can be directed to Mrs. Edwards in room 116.1.
