Just days after Kate Middleton’s hospitalization, her nurse, Jacintha Saldanha, was found dead.
According to eonline.com, Saldanha, who was 46, was tricked by DJs at an Australian radio station who pretended to be Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles. They set out to prank the nurse to get information about Kate. When the nurse discovered her mistake of giving information to the radio station, she was horribly saddened and embarrassed.
Eonline also reported that days later, she was found dead. Her death is currently listen as “unexplained” and autopsies held this week will reveal her death.
Backlash has been and continues to pour in for the two DJs who sparked the controversy. They two radio hosts named Michael Christian and Mel Greig have taken down their Facebook pages and their Twitter accounts and have not returned to their radio show.
A day after Middleton was released from the hospital, a St. James’s Palace spokesman revealed that the couple was “deeply saddened” by the death.
Saldanha’s family said in a statement: “We are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved Jacintha. We would ask that the media respect our privacy at this difficult time.”
TMZ recently released a blurry photo of the nurse has been released to the public recently of the woman unsmiling.
