Senior Patrick Triana is a captain for the McIntosh Chiefs varsity football team and plays linebacker for the defense.

Patrick started playing football in third grade, and he is in his tenth season of playing. He has played for the Peachtree City Packers, Bennett’s Mill Broncos and now the McIntosh Chiefs.

Patrick said, “My coaches have shown me how to be a leader on and off the field.” He credits Coach Allen Beall, the linebacker coach, with influencing his football career the most, but Coach Fleck is the one who has made Patrick do the craziest thing. He said, “The craziest thing a coach has ever had me do is make me bear crawl, up downs and pushup the length of the field for forgetting the camera.”

Patrick’s favorite football memory like most of the Chiefs is when the team beat Starr’s Mill for the first time in school history when he was a sophomore.

Next year, Patrick plans to study agricultural business at Texas A&M University.
