Netflix September 2017: What’s New?

This September, Netflix is adding movies, shows, and more.

Highlights:

Dead Poets Society

This classic movie starring Robin Williams, Robert Sean Leonard, and Ethan Hawke has made its way to Netflix. If you haven’t seen this movie, I suggest you check it out over the weekend. (September 1st)

The Squid and the Whale

This comedy drama starring Owen Kline, Jeff Daniels, Laura Linney and Jesse Eisenberg Follows two boys trying to deal with their parents’ divorce in in 1980 Brooklyn. (September 1st)

The Last Shaman

This documentary follows James, who gives himself 12 months before he kills himself he sets off to the amazon rain forest with hopes of finding a shaman who can save his life. (September 1st)

Newsies: The Broadway Musical

This musical is a Disney original is set in 1899, New York City when a young newspaper sellers are being exploited. Watch this classic starring Christian Bale as he goes head to head against the ruthlessness of big business. (September 5th)

The Walking Dead (Season 7)

As season 8 of The Walking Dead near, we will have to do with season 7, which is coming to Netflix September 8th. While season 7 hasn’t been the best rated season The Walking dead has had, we still have high hopes for the next season coming October 22nd. (September 8th)

Greenhouse Academy (Season 1)

In this New Netflix Original, two siblings Hayley and Alex move into the boarding school their late mother attended. They soon learn that the Greenhouse Academy has much more mystery and drama that they have no choice but to be involved in. (September 15th)

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast

A young woman offers herself as a prisoner in the place of her father and goes to live with a terrifying beast, not knowing that the beast is a prince that is physically changed because of a  curse. (September 19th)

Dark Matter (Season 3)

After six people wake up on a spaceship with no memory of how they got there or who they are, they soon find out that they are highly wanted criminals. They set off to find answers about who they are.(September 25th)
