The Walt Disney company purchased George Lucas’s LucasFilm, owner of the “Stars Wars” and “Indiana Jones” sagas, on October 30 for a whopping four billion dollars
Although most hard-core ‘Star Wars’ fans are disappointed at the change of ownership, this may not be such a bad thing for the epic saga. Even though Disney bought LucasFilm, they promised that ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ would be released in 2015. Sure there was a change in ownership, but this is a new movie! We’ve been waiting forever for this, and now it’s finally here.
Currently, the topic of the new movies is unknown, and fans are ecstatic of the possibility of any given topic. Yes, George Lucas had written story lines for 7, 8, and 9, but will Disney stick with them? I won’t spoil any of Lucas’s stories, but I will let you wonder.
