Mrs. Shery Kearney’s AP language students participated in the tradition of “Scarfsgiving” before Thanksgiving break on Wednesday, November 16. The tradition involves students choosing other students for whom to bring scarves. The students were encouraged to remain anonymous and bring scarves that represent their peers’ personalities. For many of the students, this activity was a way for them to get to know others and create their own symbols.

Junior Kalie Ward said, “My scarf represents me as a musician and my love for playing the guitar.”

Junior Radhika Sharma said, “I didn’t really know what to get the other person at first, but it was fun to get to know another student with scarves.”
