The Spirit of McIntosh marching band recently participated in the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 3. The band’s drum majors, color guard, and percussion marched down the parade route on Peachtree Street beginning at the cross street of 5th street and ending at 16th street.

Senior band member Alexandra Dumas said, “Each year, a Fayette County high school participates in this parade. This year was McIntosh’s turn. I marched and danced with a present to help keep up morale throughout the parade route. Overall, it was really enjoyable, and everyone I was with had a great time.”

A few media outlets streamed the parade and the participating McIntosh students could be seen on WSB-TV.
