The boys varsity baseball team won their series against Arabia Mountain High School on Friday, May 5. The Chiefs won their first game 8-4 but lost their second game 7-5. The Chiefs answered the next game with a crushing 9-3 win over Arabia Mountain.

Their next series is against Locust Grove, starting on Wednesday, May 10. If the Chiefs are able to win the series, they will advance to the Final Four of the state championship. In that series, they will play either Carollton High School or Logansville High School.

Junior pitcher Connor Kosevic said, “We’re the first McIntosh baseball team that has made it to the elite eight. I believe that our team has the talent to go further if we push ourselves to be the best that we can be.”
