Summer jobs open up to upperclassmen
After students finally get out of school and are free from doing homework and studying, it is the time to start earning some cash towards college, a car or just to have extra spending money.
There are many ways in which a high-schooler can make money during the summer. One way you can make money this summer is by becoming a lifeguard at a pool. The pay and hours are good, and you do get a nice tan. However, you do need to become certified in order to become one.
Another way to make money is by starting your own lawn care service. Adults, especially the elderly, will pay large sums of money to have a strong young person take care of their lawn by either pulling weeds, mowing the lawn or just watering plants. Also, many summer camps are in need of camp counselors, so if you are great with kids and have a lot of patience, that might be the job for you.
