Varsity Boys Soccer: Comeback Win

Varsity Boys Soccer extended their record to 7-2-1 when they completed a come-from-behind victory against Cross Keys, the #1 Ranked Team, on Friday, March 8.

The team was losing 4-1 when Dylan Boerstler scored with 15 minutes left. With 4 minutes left, Boerstler scored again. With just seconds left on the clock, Bailey Lopez tied it up and sent the game to overtime.

After beating Cross Keys in overtime with a goal from Tommy Kim, the team’s spirits were high.

Junior, Luke Giordano, said, “This was a perfect team win. No one gave up and we came together to overcome the deficit. It was incredible.”

This Friday, March 15, Varsity Boys Soccer is taking on Whitewater, a cross region rival.
