Freshmen Boys Basketball Tryouts This Week
Basketball is a winter athletic that keeps McIntosh’s spirit high throughout the winter season. McIntosh boys basketball has three level teams: freshmen, junior varsity, and varsity.
Although the season has not formally started, MHS is getting pumped for the staff and student favorite of holding tryouts this month. “Tryouts will be held October 22-24,” Coach Jason Eisele said. “Due to limited gym space, tryouts for the freshmen team will most likely be held at Crabapple Lane Elementary school from 6:15-8:15 p.m.”
The freshmen team allows ninth grade boys get a taste of high school basketball and improve their skills before stepping straight into a high-level team such as a varsity basketball.
