Softball is an essential athletic to McIntosh. Softball has over 32 games a season, not including playoffs, and every game represents the McIntosh High School athletic image. McIntosh’s Lady Chiefs practice every weekday and when they are not practicing they are playing games against MHS rivals Starr’s Mill and Whitewater and other teams all over Central Georgia. Varsity coach Carlie Anderson makes sure to always keep the vibe positive and the dugout cheering.

“I picked up the slogan ‘WE>ME’ from the Little League World Series,” said Anderson. “I thought it was a good motto to have for our team and just kind of anything that you do in life. You have to put the team before yourself in order for all of us to be successful. We just have to hold each other accountable in being successful as a group as well as an individual. ”

For the players, “WE>ME” remains a priority on the clay and in her athletes’ personal lives.
