The varsity girls’ soccer team warms up before their game against Morrow High School. This game is the first to take place on the new turf field.

The girls’ soccer team was the first to McIntosh’s new turf field.  The team took on the Mustangs from Morrow High School on Thursday February 9.

They got off to a quick start on the new artificial surface and went up 2-0 in the first few minutes. Goals continued to come, and the game ended after 27 minutes due to the mercy rule after McIntosh had successfully scored 10 unanswered goals.

McIntosh goals came from a variety of players including Freshman Skylar Dzenis, Junior Haley Mason, Sophomore Mackensi Rohn, Junior Hannah Ellison, Junior Lauryn Phillips, Senior Taylor Malasek, and Sophomore Emma Whitson.
