Senior player DeLayne Rotolo scored the most in the game, with a total of 22 points out of the 49. Behind her with a total of 13 points was sophomore Riley Calhoun. DeLayne had the most offensive rebounds, and Riley had the most defensive rebounds.

The coach, Mr. David Dowse, said “A well coached and determined Alexander team exposed some of our weaknesses and challenged us down the stretch. I’m proud of our team for doing enough to win the game.”

Sophomore player Anna Muh said that her favorite part of basketball as a whole is “being able to create friendships and bonds with the other girls and knowing that we can rely on each other both on and off the court. She said, “Even though I’ve been playing since 2nd grade, it’s still really fun and exciting.”
