The first match was against Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy. The Lady Chiefs swept them in straight sets. McIntosh won the first set 25-19 and the second set 25-17.
The next match was against defending State Champions, Columbus High School. Columbus beat the Lady Chiefs in both sets: They won the first set 25-8 and the second set 25-13.
Commenting on the loss Senior Avery Chaffin said, “I think that we made a ton of errors that we could have prevented if we would had not allowed our emotions to get involved. We made stupid mistakes because we got frustrated and that ended up losing us the game.”
