The Penn State Nittany Lions took on the Michigan Wolverines to end their season at home on Saturday, Nov. 21. Before the game began, the seniors were commemorated on the field by their friends and family and received loud cheers from the fans. Only five players who will be departing from Penn State have had the legendary Joe Paterno and Bill O’Brien as their coaches.

Although Penn State trailed for most of the game, they kept the first half a close game against the #14 team in the country. In fact, the Nittany Lions were down 14-10 at half. Later Penn State fumbled a punt at their own 6 yard line, and at the end of the third quarter, Michigan lead 21-10.

Penn State scored in the fourth quarter making it 21-16; however, Michigan scored another touchdown with about five minutes remaining in the game. Michigan defeated Penn State 28-16.
