Freshmen fill in spots on both girls’ varsity and JV basketball teams

With only 18 girls trying out for basketball on Oct. 26, nobody got cut during the girls’ tryouts, so everyone made a team. Thirteen players made the girls’ varsity basketball team. Out of those 13 players, three are freshmen. Freshmen Anna Muh, Kennedi Miller, and Rylee Calhoun will be playing for both the varsity team and the JV team.

The varsity team consists of #2 Kennedi Miller {freshman}, #4 Trinity Jalloh {sophomore}, #5 Kimmy Edgeworth {sophomore}, #10 Harley Obsitnik {senior}, #20 Samantha Coffey {senior}, #21 Savannah Soles {junior}, #22 Taylor McCullough {senior}, #24 Rylee Calhoun {freshman}, #33 Jawahir Ahmed {sophomore}, #34 Madison Emmet {sophomore}, #35 DeLayne Rotolo {junior}, #40 Anna Muh {freshman}, and #41 Katie Habicht {senior}. Harley Obsitnik {senior} and Savannah Soles {junior} are the captains.

The JV team consists of #5 Kennedi Miller {freshman}, #10 Nadia Coleman {sophomore}, #12 CassiDee Rotolo {freshman}, #20 Trinity Jalloh {sophomore}, #21 Kalie Ward {sophomore}, #22 Mikayla Rivers {freshman}, #24 Rylee Calhoun {freshman}, #30 Sydney Hahn {sophomore}, #32 Anna Muh {freshman}, #33 Jawahir Ahmed {sophomore}, and #34 Madison Emmet {sophomore}.
