Varsity boys basketball teams caps off historic season with region honors

The Chiefs have proven their dominance in the 4-AAAAA region this season with a 18-0 region record and 25-0 overall record. On Feb. 4, five athletes received region honors. Juniors Jordan Lyons, Will Washington and Dishon Lowery made first team all-region, and junior Chase Walter and senior Phillip Venson received honorable mention. Lyons was also named the player of the year for the region.

Senior Cassidy Williams joins Lyons as player of the year for the region for the girls. Sophomore Delayne Rotolo earned honorable mention.
