NBA heats up as playoffs get underway

After game five of the seven game series that everyone thought would end as quickly as it began, the Hawks have surprised the nation and actually lead the series for the most part currently leading the series three games to two.

Also in other series news, pertaining to the Eastern conference, the Miami Heat swept the Charlotte Bobcats four games to zero and the Washington Wizards have a stronghold on the Chicago Bulls three games to one.  In addition, the Brooklyn Nets and the Toronto Raptors are tied in a two games to two series, which is turning out to be very interesting.

In the west, the series grabbing so much attention is the Los Angeles Clippers and the Warriors out of Oakland.  Even as the Clippers deal with their owner is being investigated for racist remarks made on a recording, the Warriors took have evened up the score in game four, tying the series at two games apiece.  Also, in the west there are two other intriguing series that are tied up at two apiece.  The Dallas Mavericks and the San Antonio Spurs are tied as are the  the Memphis Grizzlies and the Oklahoma City Thunder.  Also, the Portland Trail Blazers are leading the Houston Rockets three games to one.
