Senior Amanda Bartholomew plans to appear on the MHS soccer field on March 28, her first time on the field since the 2013 state playoff semi finals.

Amanda has been a part of the McIntosh soccer program for all four years. In July of 2013, she severely broke her foot. It took her six months to fully heal the injured foot; however, the first day she began running again, she re-injured it by slightly spraining it.

Anxious to get back on the field with her team, she intends to lead her girls to the state playoffs this year and hopefully come out with another title. She says, “I’m most excited about being able to play my last season here at McIntosh with it potentially being the best season of my high school career and sharing it with an amazing group of girls.”

Considering her track record with her foot, she will continue throughout this season with precaution.
