Varsity baseball remains undefeated with a dominate win over Mt. Zion

On March 11, the varsity baseball team faced the Mt. Zion bulldogs. This was the Chiefs’ seventh game of the season, and they went into it with a 6-0 record.

The starting pitcher for the Chiefs was junior Robert Long. In three innings, Robert gave up two hits and zero runs, and he had three strikeouts. Both the Chiefs’ offense and defense were dominate. The Chiefs scored 16 runs in four innings, and they only allowed one run in four innings. The game ended by mercy ruling, and Chiefs won 16-1 giving them their seventh win of the season.

On Friday, the Chiefs will face Whitewater at home at 5.
