Seniors dominate powderpuff game
Wednesday night’s Powderpuff game was an intense battle between the juniors and seniors.
The game started off fierce, and both teams continued fighting till half time hit. Then, the atmosphere went from serious to humorous. The male cheerleaders took over the field and danced to numerous popular songs, which made the crowd go wild. Next senior Brad Manning was named Mr. Powderpuff when he received the loudest cheers from the crowd.
After half time, the seniors took over the field and scored touchdown after touchdown. The juniors continued to fight for victory, but the seniors would not let them have it. The game ended with the seniors calming the win with an impressive score of 45 to 20.
Michaela Bourne was one of the brave juniors who participated in the Powderpuff game and she said that she highly recommends it for future juniors and seniors. Michaela said, “The best thing about the game was by far the cheerleaders.”
