Students decide whom they want to win Super Bowl 50
Feb 2, 2016
The last game of the NFL season Super Bowl 50 takes place on Feb. 7 at 6:30 p.m. The Carolina Panthers will take on the Denver Broncos in Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The two teams boast having some of the greatest offenses and defenses in the league this season. The teams are led by two different style quarterbacks, Cam Newton for the Panthers and Peyton Manning for the Broncos.
Newton is known for being more of a mobile quarterback, and some individuals accuse him of being too arrogant as he is known for his eccentric style on and off the field. Manning is a pocket-passer with years of experience, and many speculate that if he wins this game, Manning will retire as a Super Bowl champion.
Junior Will Tiller said, “I am conflicted in who I want to win the Super Bowl 50. I am a big Cam Newton fan because I like the energy that he brings to the game. However, I am a huge fan of Texas A&M, and [Denver Broncos linebacker] Von Miller went there. I just want it to be a good game.”
Senior Tori Windmiller said, “Honestly, I am just rooting for the team with the cutest quarterback. Also, I just want the halftime show [with Coldplay and Beyonce] to be amazing.”
