Students share thoughts on true meaning of Christmas
Dec 17, 2015
Christmas is the time of the year filled with joy and love. The true meaning of Christmas is to celebrate Jesus’s birthday. It’s the one time of the year when people are allowed to have trees in their houses.
The Christmas season is otherwise known as the giving season. Sophomore Maddie Lindley said, “To me Christmas is about spreading joy and love. It’s is also a time to spend with your family and other loved ones.”
Gathering around the Christmas tree while drinking hot-chocolate is a tradition among most families. Sophomore Kaili Boyes says her favorite part of the season is “being with family and friends and giving as much as you can.”

The avenue puts up their Christmas tree to represent the upcoming holidays.
