Fast food’s main benefit is exactly what the name implies: It’s fast. Other advantages to eating fast food are that it’s cheap and convenient for busy students who don’t always have the money or time for a traditional meal. However, fast food is also incredibly unhealthy and detrimental to the growth and development of teenagers.

Sophomore Joie Zhou said, “Occasionally I eat fast food, but normally I eat my mom’s home cooked Chinese food. I eat fast food mainly because it’s convenient, and whenever I’m feeling it, I reward myself for a good AP Stat grade with fries.”
