While many students take the ACT and or the SAT in their junior or senior years, some students attempt to take them when they are underclassmen to have the time to take retakes and achieve the highest score possible.
However, this can be hard for students who need help mastering concepts or who cannot afford tutoring.
If a free tutoring class for the ACT and SAT were offered during the school day, more students would likely score higher and be able to go to prestigious colleges and universities.
