Readers should look for “Though None Go With Me”

Samantha Sudick, Staff Writer

Lately I’ve been reading a new book, one my mother recommended to me. It’s called “Though None Go With Me,” by Jerry Jenkins. It’s not a new book by any means, but it’s  not well known, even though a movie has been made of it.

For those of you who would like to know a bit about the storyline itself, imagine a small town preacher’s daughter. Elizabeth Leroy dedicates her life to God at a younger age than many of her peers and has an intense passion for God. She loves and loses a soldier and falls in love again with a good, honorable man. She has everyday regular struggles mixed in with the struggles of one who seeks to love and serve God passionately.

I would really recommend it as a read. Not only is it an incredible book, but also it’s based on a true story that can change the lives of all who read it. This book puts life into perspective for you.
