Many students who have been part of a team, band, or club know that there are fund raisers attached to being in the club, band, or team. Freshman Kevin Liow said, “I had to sell $200 worth of those discount cards after I completed the tryouts.” Senior Akusa Erienne said, “I ended up buying all the cards and selling them later.” Many students just pay for the fund raiser and just keep the product they sold to themselves. Some athletes, including Freshman Dylan Dodge, think that the team would be more popular if the programs where payed for by a regular fee that could be off set by selling discount cards.
