“Spring Breakers,” a new, thrilling movie starring Disney’s Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens and “Pretty Little Liar’s” Ashley Benson, is about four college girls on spring break in Florida. These girls fall into the wrong hands when they get caught up with a local gangster. This movie is both action and comedy, promoting the sad truth of youth on spring break today.
“Spring Breakers” doesn’t lack on use of alcohol, drugs and nudity.
Is this film too scandulous for Gomez? The Disney star has never ventured from her clean, innocent image until now. Though some of the public is saying it’s too much too fast, the other half likes the new image.
Whether or not this is just a cry from Gomez to break the Disney image is unknown, but only the future can tell how Spring Breakers will affect her career.
