McIntosh sources of strength is hosting its first ever Pie in the face contest. The pie contest aims to collect toy donations for Toys for Tots! For every toy each student donates, they will receive 1 raffle ticket they can use to vote on the best teacher to pie in the face. The deadline for students to vote for the top 5 teachers they would like to see get pied in the face ends today at 5:00 pm visit: Link to form. On Wed. 13th, sources of strength director Janell Brown will count up all votes for and the teachers with the most votes will be runner ups for getting pied in the face so get your votes in quick!
In the cafeteria everyday, sources of strength will display buckets with the top 5 voted teachers pictures. “If you bring in a new unwrapped toy or do a monetary donation to $5 then you will be able to do a little raffle tickets and put it in for that teacher,” said Brown. Sources of strength will be wrapping up the final vote on Dec. 13.
Once the final votes are counted for the top teacher, on Dec. 16th students are going to be able to see the top voted teacher getting pied in the face. Although the location and timing is still in planning, “it might be in the morning. it might be before school,” said Brown.
