After a gas tax suspension that went into effect on Sept. 13, the tax suspension on locomotive motor fuel was extended on Oct. 6 and would end on Nov. 29. Governor Brian Kemp released Executive Orders on Nov. 8 explaining the details of the extension.
“I have determined the state of emergency created by inflation persists in the State of Georgia, and that it is necessary and appropriate to renew the State of Emergency for inflation for eighteen (18) days,” Kemp said.
This order continued the 31.2-cent drop in prices for regular gas and 35-cent drop in diesel prices until Nov. 29.
